02 · MAKE YOUR MOVE

Your turn.

  1. Draw two

Draw two cards. Food goes straight into your face-down Stomach Pile; Action and Defense cards go into your hand.

  2. Cause a little chaos

You may play up to three Action cards. Follow the card text, including any Defense response.

  3. Remember your lunch

Once Food enters your Stomach Pile, you cannot peek at it again. Keep a mental total and prepare for a Fish Frenzy.

03 · KEEP THIS HANDY

Rules at a glance.

Food cards

Food has values from 0 to 5. Your target is as close to 10 as possible without going over.

Fish Frenzy

Reveal Stomach Piles when a Fish Frenzy calls for it. A total over 10 means you explode and are eliminated: discard your hand and Stomach Pile.

Deck runs out

Reveal the remaining Stomach Piles. The surviving player closest to 10 without going over wins.

04 · SETTLE THE TABLE DEBATE

Quick answers.

One more question before you make your move?

Do I explode as soon as I go over 10?

No. An overfull stomach is exposed when a Fish Frenzy makes you reveal it. Until then, keep playing and try to fix your total.

Can I look through my Stomach Pile?

No. Food stays face down until the rules tell you to reveal it. Remembering the total is part of the challenge.

Do I have to play three Action cards?

No. You may play zero, one, two or three on your turn.
