The pond is about to get crowded. Don’t Croak launches on Kickstarter on October 27, 2026, at 8am EST (UTC−5), and we’d love to have you at the starting dock.
Our new board game sends a group of very determined frogs into the Great Pond Crossing. There are Dragonflies to collect, rivals to outwit and a hungry crocodile with absolutely no respect for your plans.
A little pond. A lot of trouble.
Your goal sounds simple: gather five Dragonflies and get your frog to the Finish Dock before your rivals. The tricky part is making it there in one piece.
As you move across the pond, you’ll need to think about where you’re heading, who’s nearby and what the crocodile might do next. A route that looks promising can get uncomfortable very quickly when danger starts closing in.
And then there are your friends. A well-timed card can interfere with another frog’s plans, steal a Dragonfly or turn the crocodile’s attention toward someone else. Of course, the other frogs have plans of their own. Looking smug too early is probably unwise.
That’s the heart of Don’t Croak: a race across a dangerous pond where a bit of planning and a little sabotage can change who’s in trouble. Will you push toward the finish, take a chance on your next move or make life a little harder for the frog ahead?
